 DAY FOURTEEN!

I guess it really has been two weeks... and 8.5 pounds later!! I am so excited. This break is going to be so hard with all of the yummy food around, but I have done well and don't want it to go out the window. I ran this morning, but I have not been properly nourishing myself. I had a fiber1 bar before my workout, and that didn't seem to cut it!! My energy was really low and it was so hard to run today, but yesterday was a "downer" day and that may be because I didn't get a work out in?

Calories In: 580, 10 pts (will update later).

Calories Out: 2.5 miles, 30 minutes, 500 abs, ~400 calories.

 Day Twelve's Lesson: Accountability

It was all fine and dandy when we were going to Applebees, then Old Chicago even... apparently, Boss was in the mood for pizza? There is this AMAZING pizza place- a fantastic place where we have "book club". YiaYias. And, yes, "book club" could be a version of the "Divine Secrets of the YiaYia Sisterhood"... maybe that should be the next book we read! (If you come to visit, we induct honorary members!) Well, YiaYias serves carbs with, well, carbs. You can order any kind of slice you want (FooFoo, S.B?) and it comes with a roll. Yes, a roll! And what else do they serve there? Garlic bread. Baked potatoes. And beer. I was bettin' on getting "the Equator" which is your common cheese variety. Then, the senior group mate said "NOTHING VEGETALIAN" (and, yes, I spelled that correctly). We got meat with more meat and olives and mushrooms. I hate meat on pizza. I hate olives. I hate mushrooms. (Don't get me wrong, it was a free meal, and THAT was nice.) I was ravenous. I had a small snack while we were walking there. So, not only did I have TWO pieces, it was NOT that great, I could have done without it, and I still feel like crap from it! AND I HATE not knowing how many calories I consumed. Right now, it is just a guesstimate.

Calories Out: 600-700

Calories In: 1320, 26 pts. (yeah, A LOT of low point foods to make up for it! It also helped that I didn't feel too hot for about six hours afterwards and had to force-feed a SmartOne, because I knew the hunger would catch up to me very very soon. Glad I did it that way... but GRR.)

 A milestone... AGAIN.

In weight watchers, we say a milestone is anything you want it to be... it's big things like 10% (lost of your starting weight), or things like getting out of a certain range. YAH. I got out of the 190s... again. I was here on Thanksgiving day. Yep, this weight. But, the last time when I was doing this before Turkey day, I wasn't working out and there is a thing about working out that makes me want to eat better and I feel so much better now than I did earlier. And when I work out, it seems I eat less... I wonder why that is?? So, that's my milestone today- I got out of the 190s... again... for about the sixth time or something like that? Okay, okay, I know I am hard on myself. Even if I don't portray it completely, I am so JACKED about it this time. I got up this morning and went to the gym... I had every intention of running yesterday, but there were no treadmills not in use- and I ended up almost killing myself on the stairstepper anyway (YEP, I overexerted myself). Anyway, I hopped on the treadmill today and ran three miles! I started again at 5.5 (11 min mile) and after two miles, I took a 1.5 min break. I ran three miles in 33:30- which is almost 2.5 minutes off of my last time a couple of days ago!! Then I did weights and abs/core. Overall, it was a great workout and I FEEL FANTASTIC. I know it is just 7.5 pounds so far, but I have to make it stick this time. Today will be an interesting day, because there is going to be a group lunch and I WILL MAKE GOOD CHOICES!

 Weblog

Yesterday, I wikied what blog stood for. I was not sure- I thought it was a B.L.O.G. or something like that... apparently, it stands for Web log (or We blog hahaha).

I didn't work out yesterday. I didn't wake up at 0530 like I had planned. I left the lab exhausted last night, but ironically I couldn't fall asleep... maybe because I didn't work out and I was out of my routine? Hard to tell... maybe because I am in crunch time right now due to me almost going home... maybe a combination of many things. So, I slept another 2.5 hours but I did go to the gym already! I think I worked harder than I would have this morning! I got a lot out of it, more than I would have this morning. AHHH, today is going to be difficult being productive with grading and tutoring and blahblahblah!

Calories Out: 450-500: Stairstepper for almost 40 minutes, 300 abs.

Calories In: 1450, 26 pts.

Been thinking about getting a BodyBugg by Aero. It's the band that the Biggest Loser contestants wear... any of you know anything about it besides:

I was originally thinking about getting a heart rate monitor, but I don't know much about them... suggestions, anyone, please?
