So... the bro and I went out at 6 again. This time we didn't run the trails but we ran the track. As he said yesterday when I said sorry for being slow and he said don't worry about it, "I am a guy and a bad-ass". Okay... lol. I guess he is. I will explain shortly. We warmed up w/ a half miler then I did 10 x 100m sprints with 100m jogs in between and after number five I walked 200 (so I ran the first sprints on the curves and the last half on the straights). [He did *timed* 200m sprints. Yeah, no thanks.] Then we cooled down with a half miler.
Then to abs. And I decided I would branch off and do some weights. I am super bad at being consistent with leg lifting without guidance, but I went off my old trainer's weight sheet and I did select few. I don't know WHY but I decided to do everything that will hurt tomorrow and ALL different muscles! ha. Sumo squats (3x15), hip abduction/adduction (3x15), leg press (3x15), hamstring machine (3x10), and quad machine (3x15). Whew I probably won't be able to get up in the morning, but I plan on WORKING THROUGH THE BURN AND PAIN AND STILL WORKING OUT TOMORROW.
I don't think I am eating enough, though. I had fiber1 cereal for breakfast with a banana and skim milk (400 cals, 4 pts); a special K protein bar (180 cals; 3 pts); Amy's cheese pizza pocket (okay, ANYONE would love these - they are organic, meat, poultry, fish, egg-free packaged food --- which, btw I am trying to limit myself to one per day because of the sodium; 310 cals, 6 pts); banana (100 cals; 2 pts); chicken breast (120 cals, 2 pts); green beans (40 cals, ZERO pts!); after workout supplement (200 cals; 4 pts)... for a grand total of 1350 cals and 21 pts WITHOUT my 700 calorie workout... so that is 650... does that mean I have to cram in another 550 calories to stay within the 1200 MINIMUM calories for females. AND I have had such a problem with trying to figure out how much I should consume... I have done some searching online and it says that I should eat about 2250 cals to maintain my weight AT A SEDENTARY lifestyle. I am confused, so I guess I should just see what happens this week, huh?! If anyone has some advice to give, please do!
